It's pretty simple - I love reading, and I'm kind of obsessed with books.
You'll often find me wandering down to the local bookstore on my lunch break and coming back with a little treat. It's becoming a very bad habit!
For me, reading is fun, calming and one of the best ways to switch off and relax.
What are your favourite genres?
I'm a massive crime and thriller fan; it's always been my escape.
However, I've become a huge reader of literary fiction in the past several years. It's really opened up my world, and my TBR list keeps growing. I'm excited about all the authors and books I'm yet to read.
Do you really read all the books?
Yes, I definitely do! I've read all the books reviewed on this site. I'm usually reading when I have a spare moment (beats doom scrolling). I'm also quite lucky as I've been blessed with the superpower of speed reading!
Do you write your own reviews?
Yup! For good or bad, all the reviews you see on this website are written by me – there's no AI generated copy at The Cosy Wombat.
Where are you from?
I'm a proud Aussie and live in sunny Brisbane in Queensland! I love lamingtons, wrestling crocodiles and throwing another shrimp on the barbie (all true apart from the crocodiles and we call shrimps 'prawns' here).
